CLSTG Grad Serves as Guest Chaplain for US House
A Christian Life School of Theology Global (CLSTG) graduate was recently invited to serve as guest chaplain for the U.S. House of Representatives. Dr. Tony Foster appeared before the House in Washington D.C. on July 14, 2023 to pray over the legislative proceedings.
“To be asked to come and have the opportunity to pray for our leaders in the House of Representatives, it’s an honor,” Foster said.
His prayer centered on 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” He concluded with a blessing over our representatives, imploring that our country be restored as “one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
Pastor Tony has faithfully served in Christian ministry for nearly 30 years. During that time, he has preached the gospel in the United States and around the world. He is co-founder and co-pastor of Restoration Worship Center in Greenwood, South Carolina, which began in 2003 with just 25 members and a vision of becoming a place where the community could worship God while growing in their faith.
As a professional Master Coach and certified master trainer, Pastor Tony has a passion to see the body of Christ totally restored into the people God has called us to be. He is president of Restoration Bible College and was recently sworn in as a magistrate judge in Greenwood County.
