The Love of Christmas
By Dr. Randal & Rev. Laurie Langley
We hope this message finds you well and living in peace. Christmas is right around the corner, and we have so much to be thankful for, both personally and as a team here at Christian Life School of Theology Global. This has been an amazing year, which included our 40th Anniversary Celebration that many of you were able to be a part of in September. Fifteen nations were represented, and it was so special to see all those who attended. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us in person and from afar.
As Christmas nears, we are excited to share it with family and friends. Ephesians 1:14 is not a scripture we typically read at Christmas, but this is what it says:
“The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.”
The bottom line is that God sent Jesus, whose coming we celebrate this season, because He loved us and chose us to be His! What a thought to take to heart and remember for yourself: You are loved. This is a gift that we can give away to anyone we come in contact with this holiday. Keep Christmas as simple as you can, and pour out God’s love on people every opportunity you get.
We’re praying for you—our students, graduates, faculty, partner schools and pastor friends—that you will have your best year yet.
Psalm 23 says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” Our prayer is for the goodness of God to chase you and overtake every relationship of your life.
We love you, and we celebrate with you the joy of Christmas. God bless!
