Still Speaking: The Enduring Power of Legacy Courses
At Christian Life School of Theology Global, we believe that the Word of God is alive, timeless and never returns void. While technology continues to evolve, the eternal truths of Scripture remain unchanged, and often, the most impactful messages are those that have stood the test of time.
That’s why we’re proud to feature our legacy courses—teachings that were recorded several years ago, but still carry profound spiritual insight and theological depth for today. While these courses may not reflect the production quality of our newer offerings, their content is rich, relevant and anointed. They’re taught by faithful men and women of God who poured years of ministry experience and biblical understanding into every session.
Recently, we’ve taken steps to enhance the accessibility of some of these legacy courses—refreshing the introductions, refining the audio and improving the presentation as much as possible—without altering the heart of the material. Think of them as vintage treasures full of lasting value.
Here are three legacy courses that have recently been refreshed and are now available for a new generation of learners:
No Longer a Victim (PT661) – Dr. Lynn Lucas
Abuse has a way of distorting identity and silencing voices. In this deeply compassionate and theologically grounded course, Dr. Lynn Lucas offers a path toward healing and wholeness for survivors and those who walk alongside them.
You’ll explore:
- The spiritual and emotional impact of abuse
- The cycles of power and control that keep people trapped
- The role of shame, silence and truth in the healing process
- How to embrace your identity as a beloved child of God
Whether you’ve experienced abuse yourself or minister to those who have, this course provides biblical tools for breaking chains and walking in redemptive freedom.
Anonymous Women of Faith: A Theology of Faith (BT610) – Dr. Alvis Harthern
Faith is not confined to the well-known names of Scripture. In this unique and insightful course, Dr. Alvis Harthern uncovers the stories of seven unnamed women in the Bible whose acts of supernatural faith left a lasting mark on God’s redemptive story.
You’ll reflect on:
- The difference between natural and supernatural faith
- How faith operates in ordinary, everyday lives
- The relationship between faith and other Christian virtues
- Your own walk of faith through the lens of these often-overlooked examples
This course invites you to consider how the anonymous can still be mighty in God’s kingdom.
Priesthood of the Believer (BT527) – Dr. Sam Sasser
Every believer is called to a life of intimacy with God—not just pastors or leaders. In this devotional course, Dr. Sam Sasser explores what it means to function as both kings and priests unto the Lord and how to develop a life marked by prayer, praise and presence.
You’ll discover:
- The biblical roots of priestly ministry
- The spiritual disciplines that draw us into God’s presence
- How to set your heart to seek the Lord
- The connection between worship and identity
This course is a call to return to the heart of personal devotion—a priesthood rooted not in performance, but in presence.
We invite you to revisit these legacy courses—or discover for the first time. They may look a little different than today’s polished productions, but the truths they carry are just as powerful, just as relevant and just as life-changing.
