Continuing Education Units
Engage in life-long learning within your area of interest.
Enrolled students may take courses as an ungraded/professional development student. Ungraded students receive course materials but do not receive academic credit for their work. Professional development students may take a course for Continuing Education Units (CEU) and receive a CEU Certificate. A CEU in higher education is awarded for 10 hours of instruction from a qualified faculty in a class that teaches specific skills. CEUs are the primary means for fulfilling “professional development” requirements.
A variety of classes qualify for a CEU Certificate (and count toward a degree if taken as a graded student). CEU students will receive a Certificate after submitting an application. Graded students are eligible for a CEU Certificate at no additional charge.
